Harith Ridzuan is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Green Factory, Kuala Lumpur’s greenest wood manufacturing facility. A second-generation woodworker, he joined his family’s 27-year old furniture-making business after graduating from Nottingham University in 2008.
He began exploring the green space and gradually transitioned his 20+ year old family business towards sustainability with a focus on greener manufacturing of furniture & lifestyle products. Since 2012, he has guided his company to pioneering Malaysia's sustainable manufacturing of wood products.
Harith remains at the forefront of The Green Factory, raising awareness about the adoption of sustainability in industries, educational institutes, and communities. He is frequently invited by universities, research institutions, and corporations as a ‘green speaker’ to share his insights and 13 years of experience in the timber industry.
