Kenny Loh is a photographer with a passion for capturing the human condition. He has been telling the stories of Malaysians and those who call Malaysia home for the last 12 years. He tells these stories through his ‘Born in Malaysia’ series of books and also on social media.
Trained in the US, he has spent a large part of his career in the Greater China area, and later returning to Malaysia in 2009.
He remembers how his father used to drive their family from their home in Ipoh to various towns in Malaysia when he was a schoolboy. Upon his return to Malaysia in 2009, he decided to retrace some of the journeys he made with his family. That journey culminated in his first book, ‘Born in Malaysia - A Photographer’s Journey’, which was published in 2013.
