PHUA CHIN ENG, the founder, principal and driving force behind Landart, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture (1996) and a Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning (1992) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He has been listed as a corporate member of the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (ILAM) since the year 2000.
Before settling down in Penang to embark on the developmental journey of establishing Landart in 1998, Phua had spent the earlier stages of his career practising landscape architecture in Singapore. With decades of experience practising in the industry, Phua taps into his expertise and knowledge to guide and lead the team while supplying indispensable conceptual ideas during both the planning and designing stages.
Phua has been a guest speaker during various webinars and workshops where he shared his industry experience, while he was one of the judges for the Malaysian Landscape Architecture Awards (MLAA) competitions.
